HOW TO REGISTER 

2024 season registrations now open 

Sharkies and all U6-U16 players

Welcome to Bulimba Riverside Junior Rugby Union Club for the 2024 Season. 2023 was a very successful year and 2024 promises to be even better! For the first time in Riverside Rugby history we have an U16 team! 

 

Registration is OPEN and everything is electronic.

 

Returning (regular season) players can now proceed to register via the RUGBY XPLORER app. To secure your place in a team, complete your registration ASAP.  

 

All players who did not play in 2023 must contact the club via email to check team availability prior to registering online. In addition, new players must provide a copy of a birth certificate/passport.

ONLINE REGISTRATION

1. Download the Rugby Xplorer app or open the webpage  https://myaccount.rugbyxplorer.com.au/ and work through the set up process.

2. In the app click the three dots bottom right and click register on the web select register on the left hand side menu.

3. Select the player you want to register. If the player you are wanting to register is not listed, click “Link a new person”. 

4. Type Bulimba into the search area and select Bulimba Riverside JRUC. 

5. Role – Sharkies select 'Modified Rugby Participant' and U6-U16 select 'Player'

Registration Type – Sharkies select 'Little Rugby', U6-U16 select 'XVs Juniors'

Duration - Select Season. 

*If you are registering to trial 4 training sessions please select 'Training only' registration type 

6. Check the Personal details are correct. 

7. Check Additional Details are correct. 

8. Check Emergency Contact Details are correct.

9. Enter Players Height (cm) and Weight (kg).
Please be accurate this information is used to determine whether players are required to be assessed against the ARU’s Size for Age Guidelines. Enter current School. 

10. Check Registration details, enter any discount codes provided by the Club (if applicable). Proceed to payment. The system charges a 2% processing fee per payment that will be added to the total amount.

11. An email will confirm your registration.

PAYMENT INFORMATION:

We are a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers. These fees (which have not increased from 2022) cover player insurances and levies, our field hire, lights, medics (Saturdays and Sundays), game day/training t-shirts, jerseys, bags, caps, team photos, trophies / medals, etc.

Bulimba Riverside JRUC fees for the 2024 season are as follows:

$145.00 - Sharkies (age 3 – 5)

$340.00 - U6 – U16

For new players we have a training only option which covers 4 weeks of training for $15.

To be covered by the ARU’s Insurance policy, ALL players must be registered prior to the start of training.

For all families with 3+ children at the club fees are capped at $840. 

If you have 3+ children that will be registered at the club, please contact the Club before starting the online registration process to ensure your discounts are set up correctly.

 

 

ALL PLAYERS will receive a training/game day tee shirt and water bottle.
New players receive a cap and bag (U6-U9) or kit bag (U10-U15).
Club playing shorts and socks need to be purchased from the club.

FairPlay Vouchers

• FairPlay Vouchers are a government sponsored program designed to help young people participate in sport.  Bulimba Riverside Rugby is a registered club.

• A maximum of $150 (GST inclusive) per voucher is available for children who are aged from 5 to 17.

• Voucher applications for round ten open 24 January and will close 1 May (unless all vouchers are issued).

If you are applying for a voucher – please apply and send through the SIGNED voucher, before registering your son/daughter – The Club will get back to you with a discount code to use when doing your 2024 registration.
